Who We Are
Island Cat Rescue Foundation was created in 2024 because we recognized a need for there to be a non-profit organization dedicated to kitten and cat rescue across the island of Sint Maarten (Dutch side)/ St. Martin (French side).
Our mission is to reduce the number of stray and feral cats that live across the island through our TNR (trap, neuter, release) program.
We also take into our care kittens who we come across during TNR campaigns that are young enough to be socialized and ultimately adopted into forever homes.
Unfortunately, a large number of kittens and cats are also abandoned across the island, dropped off in boxes on neighbor’s doorsteps or placed into dumpsters.
We are fortunate to have wonderful volunteers who then take these kittens into foster and care for them until they are healthy enough for adoption.
Our long-term goal is to provide free spay and neutering for all residents of Sint Maarten/St. Martin so that we can prevent unwanted pregnancies and the proliferation of abandoned kittens.
With each donation, we are closer to reaching that goal! If you would like to contribute to this campaign, please click on the image below to donate.
